I gave her a 17″ Toshiba Notebook only because VISTA would not run my Rockwell Automation Software and just getting her to review the FN key and how it works was a challenge. Supposedly the new batches have a newer, quieter fan, so that is one thing I will definitely be looking at. Also, many people complained that the fan in the first few batches had jet engine qualities. On the bottom is the fan which I find an odd location.
